Dr. Miguel Barria is on faculty at the University of Austral in Chile. Dr. Barria’s research expertise is autoimmune diseases and he will work on autoimmune skin diseases during his stay at TXID. Texas Institute of Dermatology is dedicated to provide quality care for the entire San Antonio and Boerne community. The Institute offers excellence in treatment of various hair, nail and skin disorders. Texas Institute of Dermatology is one of the few private Dermatology Institutes in South Texas that combines clinical care with research.

SKIN CARE ADVICE

Resting your face on the pillow in the same way for a long period of time can lead to wrinkles. These sleep lines eventually become etched on the surface of the skin and no longer disappear. They are most likely seen on the chin and cheeks. These wrinkles can be avoided, if you sleep on your back.
