Angiomas
Treatments: Pulsed Dye Laser, Electrocautery, Surgical Excision.
These benign, visible blood vessels are common and may occur on the face or trunk and may be unsightly to some people. Laser is the only non-scarring treatment option.
One treatment is typically enough when angiomas are flat. If they are raised they require multiple laser or electrocautery treatments. Larger angiomas may have to be excised.

| 2010-04-24 18:56:32 | I know the Dr. from Philadelphia. Dr. Ghohestani is the best dermatologist I have had… and I have had a few angiomas. For the first time, my skin reacts to treatment. Thank you! |
| 2010-05-01 12:04:52 | I have been to a number of derm docs….often it seems as though they have you try this or that but never seem to have a clear plan as to how they will treat ALL of the issues at hand. Thank you for taking the time to address each one of my concerns. You are a great Doc. |
